Woman, 38, has died in a single-vehicle crash at Tingalpa

A 38-year-old woman has died following a single vehicle traffic crash at Tingalpa overnight.

Initial inquiries indicate just after midnight a sedan travelling eastbound on Wynnum Road left the roadway and crashed into a tree near Hemmant-Tingalpa Road.

The female driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the incident.
