Woman in court over daylight stabbing

A GOLD COAST woman accused of stabbing a Crows Nest man numerous times in an Ipswich park earlier this month has fronted court.

Danni-Lee Howe, 20, was charged with acts intending to cause grievous bodily harm stemming from the incident on March 6, 2016 at River Heart Parklands in broad daylight.

It is alleged she stabbed the man, 55, several times in the stomach in front of shocked onlookers.

The matter was adjourned until June 1.
