Woman released from hospital after electric shock drama


The 26-year-old woman has been released from hospital after receiving an electric shock, a Mackay Base Hospital spokeswoman said.



A 26-year-old woman has been rushed to hospital after receiving an electric shock to her hand from a lamp.

A QAS spokesman said the incident occurred at a private residence at Mount Ossa, north of Mackay about 11.15am.

The spokesman said the woman was taken to Mackay Base Hospital in a stable condition.
