Woman in hospital after suffering spider bite on ankle

A TOOWOOMBA woman has been taken to hospital after she was bitten by a spider in North Toowoomba.

The woman, aged in her 50s, was reportedly bitten on the ankle by the unknown species of spider after 9pm yesterday.

Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics transported the woman in a stable condition to Toowoomba Hospital.
