Woman killed, driver flees after Queensland crash

A 28-YEAR-OLD woman has died after the sedan she was travelling in was struck by in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Police are now hunting the driver of the Holden Commodore who fled on foot.

Police said the fatality occurred about 12.55am when the Holden Commodore, travelling east on Browns Plains Road, collided with a Mitsubishi Lancer at the intersection with Parkland Avenue.

A 28-year-old local woman travelling in the Mitsubishi Lancer has died at the scene in the Logan suburb of Browns Plains.

The driver of the Lancer and two passengers from the Commodore were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are appealing for the driver of the Commodore to contact them.

Investigations are continuing and police are appealing for anyone with relevant dashcam vision to contact CrimeStoppers or local police.
